The course consists of 19 Lessons. Each Lesson costs $190.40($180 + 10.40 S&H).

Information about Digital Camera starts at Lesson 1 and continues though out the course

The course includes Analog and Digital Electronic Lessons to give you a strong foundation. You won't need an electronic background when you start the course

Lesson 1-4 gives you basics skills; checking a camera, soldering, analog and digital electronics

Lesson 4-8 explains how the systems that make up both digital and film cameras work; power, lightmeter, Autofocus and Release.

Lesson 9-15 teaches you how to disassemble shutters, flash systems and digital and electronic film cameras.

Lesson 16-19 teaches you how to troubleshoot and repair digital and electronic film cameras.

During the course you will hands on experience with: externally camera checks, soldering components on a Flexible Circuit, Analog and Digital Electronic experiments, testing DC/DC Converters, testing lightmeter circuits, reading Autofocus codes, testing SLR release systems, disassembling & repairing P/S Zoom Cameras, disassembling & repairing SLR Cameras, testing Flash circuits, testing Film transport systems, disassembling & repairing lenses, disassembling & repairing focal plane shutters, disassembling & repairing Digital Cameras.

There are videos to give you step by step instruction. These custom videotapes will allow you to 'see' each step in detail so you will have a clear understanding of what you are supposed to do. As you gain experience, you will also be required to use repair manuals and CDs as part of the lesson experiments.

After you complete Lesson 10, you can attend our workshop. This is optional and is given during the Photo Marketing Convention once a year. You will need to contact us for details.

The tools you need are part of the course and will be sent with Lesson 2. They are yours to keep.
